Believe me if you ever plan to make a completely free website full of features to build a great community don't even bother doing it since people prefer paid website full of ads with dumb content!
I usually activated the snowflakes when it's really snowing here and for the holiday season.
The snowflakes can be deactivated via user cp if you are a registered member if you don't like it.
